About TheHalseyHouse

I am one person who sets up home warranty plans and explains each of them in plain words.

One Person Behind Every Plan I Set Up

TheHalseyHouse is me, working alone. I set up home warranty plans for people who would rather know how a repair gets paid for before the furnace goes quiet or the washer stops in the middle of a load.

I began this work after watching neighbors sign contracts they had never really read. A plan is only useful when you know what it pays for, what it leaves out and what a visit costs. So I go through each of those points with you in everyday language, and I stay with the conversation until it makes sense.

Nothing here is rushed. You tell me about your house and the equipment in it, I show you the plan types that fit, and the choice stays yours.

How I Work With You

Three habits shape every plan conversation I have. They are simple, and I keep to them with every homeowner.

Plain Words First

Contract terms get translated into the language you would use at your own kitchen table.

Limits Said Out Loud

I point to the payout caps and the exclusions early, so nothing in the contract catches you off guard later.

No Pressure to Decide

Take the plan summary home and think it over. I will be here when you are ready to talk again.

Who I Set Up Plans For

Any house with working equipment can go on a plan. These are the situations I hear about most often.

Send a Question

New Owners

You just moved in and do not know the history of the furnace or the water heater.

Long Time Owners

Your equipment has served for many seasons and repairs are starting to show up.

Busy Households

A broken washer or fridge upends the week, and you want one place to file a request.

Rental Owners

You look after a house someone else lives in and want repairs handled without a scramble.

How Home Warranty Coverage Works, Start to Repair

Technician showing a homeowner a service form on a clipboard

Step 1 - Pick What to Cover

Choose systems, appliances or both, then list the equipment your house has.

Step 2 - Start the Plan Term

Coverage runs for a year. A short waiting period comes before a first request.

Step 3 - Request a Repair

A covered item fails, you file online, and one service fee is due per visit.
